The purpose of this project was to develop an industrial automation setup capable of picking parts from conveyor, bins and complete a shipment of order. The environment as shown above had 2 UR-10 robotic arms, conveyor belt, bins and 2 AGVs for delivering the completed kit.

Our system was challenged with the following scenarios:

  • Pickup part from conveyor

  • Faulty part

  • In-process order change

  • Flipped Part

  • Sensor blackout

  • Dropped part
